- TSUCHIYU KOKESHI DOLLS
- With relatively small heads and thin cylindrical feminine bodies, these Kokeshi dolls with janome moyo, or patterns, have the design of delicate faces with crescent moon eyebrows, whale eyes slanting down at the edges, and a tiny mouth looking distinctively cheerful.
- PEACH AND APPLE JUICE
- There is always a big harvest of peaches and apples in Fukushima City. We take 100% juice and reduce it to 70% to make it easier to drink. Cold, It is even more delicious!
- MICHINOKU FUKUSHIMA HANDCRAFTED BEER
- Fermented malt is the secret. The brew is alive with the yeast, but without that yeasty smell of some microbrews. It is a refined and rich-tasting beer.
- MARINADED SHREDS OF SQUID AND CARROT (IKA NINJIN)
- Originating in Fukushima, this dish of slivered squid and carrots in a soy sauce-based marinade can be found only in Japan.
- SMOKED KAWAMATA WILDFOWL
- Smoking GAMECOCK the certified Fukushima way requires Saumur curing, simmering and ageing, and finally smoking with cherry-wood. The rich taste of this fowl is worth waiting for. Kawamata smoked GAMECOCK is available whole, or by half, or just the wing section. In addition, everyone can enjoy tender breast meat and many kinds of juicy sausages.
- SOSUKEZUKE (UTSUKUSHIMA-EGOMA PORK PICKLED IN MISO)
- This select pork is a specialty made using Fukushima Oyama yuzu, and the miso contains the fragrance of this wonderful citrus. Painstaking care is put into the preparation of this pork. There is also delicious Fukushima beef prepared in the same manner.
